Key fob issues

I have a 2015 C7, Z51 manual. Neither of my key fobs are working properly. I am able to lock and unlock the car but it won't start unless I plug the key fob into the steering column. I have changed to new 2032 batteries, twice to make sure and I have a battery tender on the car battery, it is only 2 years old, and it shows a full charge. I have read the manual, other posts and I have tried pretty much everything that is posted. The dash shows key fob not detected.
Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

I have heard that some cell phones interfere with the key fob signals. especially if they are in the same pocket or otherwise close to each other. That's all I got. Touch wood, my 2015 hasn't done that.... yet...

Have you tried the long fob reprogram? Not sure if it would help or not.

Thanks. i have tried this at least 5 times and still not working. I think it's time for the dealer to take a look.

Check and see if NFC ( near field communication) is enabled on your phone. That can sometimes cause issues. You could try holding the end of the fob against the bottom of your chin which can amplify the signal somewhat. Seriously.
The fob may need to be reprogrammed.
