Featured Just returned from Thailand - Piks...

Just back from a few weeks in Thailand and thought i might throw in a few piks that I took... There is no order but we started in Krabi, moved up to the lost Island of Ko Yai Noi and then finished off in Bangkok. Enjoy...and if I can ever suggest an AMAZING vacation spot for anyone, Thailand is a MUST! Great food, nature, scenery and amazing people. Of the bunch... one was taken with the wifes iPhone, didn't want to leave it out though...

The last picture was a decent grab... it is of a Flying Fox bat (Pteropus vampyrus) which is very endangered. We found an island full of them. Their wingspan can become several feet wide.

What the heck is that bird? His beak is a helmet! That just might be the most fascinating thing I have ever seen!
