Ouch...for C8 owners like me who adore their "Ferrari wanna-be's" and consider them Corvettes (the next generation "GM needed a mid-engine" Corvette)...I'll not try to "dodge" that bullet but rather simply disagree with your sentiment. 
Or maybe (?) you're not trying to be a "challenger" and by comparing the C8 to a Ferrari, you're really landing a compliment???
Do you own or have you owned an older Corvette?
