HUD Display Memory?

I’ve read that your HUD display preference should get saved with your memory setting ?

My mirrors do, my seats do, my key fob is all setup and named … and recognized

But my HUD always defaults back to a particular setting no matter what I save in memory

Am I losing my mind ?

I don't believe you can save your setting for HUD....Mine is the same. The default screen is the worst one. Who needs the largest Font to be the Gear you are in ore Tac....I'd like to see the speed in the largest font...

Mine is always set to the HUD sport setting and I am always in MyMode. I am not sure if that make a difference.

The HUD section is at page 101 of the manual. I found this part about setting the HUD. I am not sure if that saves it as your default view.

The HUD settings for tach etc. are saved in the MyMode not by the driver if that is the settings you mean.

I still see no way to "Save" it .. I use My Mode almost exclusively ... but cannot connect how to save HUD with My Mode

It's there. I found it awkward to set up if I recall correctly. It's not in a place you'd expect. ... I think. Sorry it's been 3 years since I set it to my liking.

This might be a clue.

Display:This setting adjusts the cluster display theme (this setting is only configured through the cluster using the steering wheel controls).. Tour, Sport, Track, Weather (and any informational tiles set-up).

Ya, I remember now. Still it's not very intuitive. I'd think it would have been better placed on the infotainment screen with other settings.
Anyway, I'm glad you found that. I'd be racking my brain trying to remember. lol

Here is a video in which the presenter goes over just about every single feature of the c8 . He can be a bit annoying but I’m pretty sure that it will be helpful for many. Two hours long but there is an index for searching for specific sections.

Not at all, I thought there must be away to hide it. I have it on all the time.
