Headlights on strike

Bill that is what happens when you go so fast, even the lights are hiding!:D

I have the manuals for the 03 if you need me to copy anything for you.

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks guy's.....this looks like some sort of work to rule type deal. I had the headlights coming up and working just fine during daylight hours today. Didn't really do anything but wiggle a few wires but then when I was out tonight, lights are set for twilight but never came on so I turned the headlight switch on and nothing. Lights are on but no one is home.
Came home, cranked one light up by hand and then cranked it back down. Turned the headlight switch on and the light which I hand cranked up and down opened but not the other.
Turned lights off, cranked the other side up and down by hand. Turned on the headlight switch and both lights opened and functioned correctly.
What is this all about??

Bill

The headlight motors use plastic gears to move the lights up and down. Failure is a common problem and I did change gears on one side of my C5. Not too difficult if you are a handy kinda guy.

Found the link to the site that sells the upgrade kit: Headlight Motor Kit: 93-02 Firebird, 00-04 Corvette C5
