I find this show interesting. Hot Rodders and Cops working together to put a show on. A great concept to get the two communities together.
However, down in Coburg, Ontario the local police have essentially declared war on "modified" cars during the month of August by pulling over any and all they see for inspection by the police and the MOT. They have even enlisted "Crime Stoppers" for people to rat out a neighbour with rewards of up to $2000.00. The hot rod community in that area has contacted the BIA and local officials to complain about this and the possibility of lost business for the merchants in Coburg. They also point out all the charity work the car community does for the town and surrounding areas. I guess it is not appreciated.
So if you are driving a modified car stay away from Coburg, Ontario.

Everyone pulled over should file harassment charges and plug the courts full. This crap is one of the reason that we sold our old cars. Our L78 car was emissions compliant but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be pulled over and hassled. A little emissions info. https://www.ontario.ca/faq/do-hot-rods-need-drive-clean-test
