Fuel Used

Has anyone else tried the fuel used feature available in our gauge cluster?
I reset mine to zero the last few times I’ve filled up. It’s not even close to being accurate. You would think the car would know how much fuel it’s used.

I am just taking a stab at this..... One would have to assume that the gas pump is accurate in the display of liters pumped. The discrepancy could be in some fuel not registering in the tank, if it were all to be pumped into the engine it would leave the tank completely dry. I think its not unusual to have 3 to 4 litres left in the tank. It really isnt that much.... just guessing here...
