What, that you miss out 7 months of driving your sports car? ;)
Obviously a different mentality down there. I can see Vancouverites driving as their winter consists of rain 99% of the time. Snow and ice is an anomaly. But we have snowy roads and populations full of drivers that have no idea how to drive, let alone drive on our slippery roads. As I've said before, I've been rear ended once and sideswiped once with my winter beater. Both times I was sitting still at a red traffic light. One of the drivers of the other vehicles said there was something wrong with his car. "brake not work". He had no freaking idea that an icy road could affect braking ability until I showed him his marks. I don't want my Vette ran into. I take enough chances in the summer with drivers who should not have a license, let alone pushing my luck in the winter with my baby. You guys go ahead and I hope you never regret winter driving but Murphy's law has a way of creeping up on people when they least expect it.
