A little bit of Northern Ontario, better let her drive some of it!

End of day one we arrived safely in Sault St Marie. Day two heading to Thunder Bay (700 kms ). A bit of a scare with a cow moose crossing the highway. She was nowhere near the moose crossing signs what the hell doesn't she know where she is suppose to cross the road. Then off to an Amethyst mine for some bling

Sandy picked this off the shelf instead of digging in the dirt. We did have to do a little off roading to get there

Travel safe Jim and Sandy.

Started to meet a lot of great corvette people.
Then off to the 3rd floor of the parking garage (corvettes only ) to start getting 2000+ kms of road grime off.

Sat July 14th dust off the cars for the show and shine and the auto cross.

From here we went to the bbq at Bernie and Bev's.
We had a great time sharing stories and getting to know each other.
A back yard photo shoot with the Z16 crew,

July 17th Sandy and I decided to go straight north to Calgary (375 kms ) after 6 long days of being on the road. First stop was to get a decent cup of coffee.
DSC_0144.JPG
A quick stop in Lethbridge for some lunch, then we took a break in Naton.
Sandy wanted pictures of the grain elevators.

I did a tour of the Bomber Command Museum.

Then off to my cousins in Calgary for a couple of days of rest before Cold Lake.
My cousin's husband Ron had a cold beer for me upon arrival DSC_0211.JPG
Sandy and I took the next day off and did absolutely nothing.

Then headed back to Calgary a long HWY 1A what a nice twisty road for a rip in a Corvette, to bad it had rained.

Wed July 25 Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie 700 kms
To start my day I saw a motor home in the opposite ditch. Then farther down the road, I had a tractor trailer pull out from my side of the road going in the opposite direction, he had my lane and half of the other lane blocked . I had to lay on the horn and go blindly around the front of the truck. After a quick underwear change back on the road.
