Discounted 2024 Convertible or 2025 Coupe?

Hello all! I went to my local dealership to place an order for my 2025 3LT Coupe. Unfortunately, GM isn’t taking any new orders. I’m unable to find anything close to my build. During my search, I came across a new 2024 3LT convertible. Should I be concerned about it sitting on a dealership lot for a year? The current negotiated price is $500 under invoice. It’s equipped with front lift, mag ride selection, performance exhaust, and body-coloured exterior accents , wheels, and custom seats.
I’m a bit hesitant to pull the trigger. It’s red with black and red GT2 buckets , and my build is orange with a habanero interior.
Any advice?

On a new 2024, the discounts should be way more than 500$. Maybe @Mr.Corvette could help you out.

What he really wants being orange with habanero interior was not available in 2024 and not much 2024 inventory remains. None are his exact build of course. I am checking on the 2025 availability.
