DIC pixels

My 03 z06 DIC has a few (2 or 3) pixels that sometimes do not light up. I didn’t think too much about it since the car is 16 years old (17,000 kms). It is noticeable in the startup ‘CORVETTE’ text and some of the other gauges.

Then this weekend, I disconnected the battery for a few minutes doing something else unrelated. When I reconnected and started the car up, all of the pixels were working perfectly.

As with the old computers of a few years ago, if all else fails, disconnect the power and hook it up again to re-set things. I'm not very computer literate so I work by the KISS system. Keep It Simple Stupid.
