Don't know about F1 given the huge cost and of course Montreal have that contract to host until 2035 . It was 48 Million just to renovate the existing Pit Lane aera in Montreal !
Building a Formula One track and facilities typically costs between $200 million and $500 million for a standard permanent circuit, though luxury projects can exceed $1 billion.Cost Range . Permanent F1 circuits require FIA Grade 1 homologation, including specialized asphalt, safety barriers, runoffs, pits, paddocks, grandstands, and media centers. Basic tracks start around $270 million total, with the track surface alone at $75 million and pit buildings at $65 million. Premium venues like Yas Marina Circuit reached $1.3 billion due to integrated hotels, marinas, and extensive infrastructure. Recent Examples . Madrid's Madring circuit: $89.7 million for a 5.47 km hybrid urban-permanent track. Las Vegas Grand Prix: Initial $240 million land buy for pits/paddock, escalating to $400 million with track resurfacing.
