As threatened over many a year, I've pushed out a nifty little social group feature to CCF.

You can access it via the Clubs link in the navigation bar as well as the link below:

Currently this feature is Beta but stable meaning you can start using it straightaway.

We are particularly interested in attracting some existing Facebook (and other) Corvette Club managers to come on over and start supporting a Canadian organization and get your members to register on CCF.

What are Corvette Clubs?

Think Facebook groups without all the the spam, ads and privacy concerns.
It's a place to organize your own Corvette club and provide your members with forum-like functionality in a centralized Corvette friendly place.

What can you do?

Visit the Club page.
Create a group. Fill out some details, give it an avatar and banner pic.
You can create sections and discussion threads.
You can add your own media albums.
You can create Public or Private groups.
You can invite members, moderate members and content as a group owner and even transfer ownership.

Why not just use Facebook groups?

Unlike Facebook..... We:
1. Will not farm out your data and sell it to data brokers (unless they offer us no less than 1 Billion :) then I'll buy it off you)
2. Will not embed tracking cookies to follow you around
3. Will be simple and easy to maintain
4. Can optionally be discoverable on google (so others can find you easily outside of the FB walled garden)
5. Won't serve you ads or stupid unrelated content
6. Will not harm your health and offer up doom scrolling opportunities (unless you visit our political threads maybe ;) )
7. Will tightly integrate with your favourite forum

Are there any limits?

You must be a registered CCF member
Currently ALL group create requests go up for manual approval
We reserve the right to remove or reject spammy or unsuitable groups
Groups are strictly for personal use only, we will reject or remove any groups used for business promotion.
