In my case, I didn't have any issues on my '05 up until last year when it really started acting up and the car would not start on a few occasions. Over the winter, I've ordered the bypass module and it's getting installed as soon as it comes out of storage.
GM dealers can remove the column lock from the 2005 Manual vehicles. Why would anyone bother with a bypass that can also fail?
