Carb question

I have a carb , Holley stamped 3301-1 date is 1B2

My brother had the original car it came from 1967 convertible 327 350 hp.

He was told it was the original carb. I am not sure as date stamp suggests other wise.

Any opinions and what is its value to C2 guys.

Your sure it is a LIST 3301-1 and not a LIST 3310 3811 or 3810. Because a 3310 was built for Chevy although not Corvette. The 3810 & 11 were used on '67 Corvette. But the 3301-1 you cite was used by Ford. Other than being aware Ford used Holley too, I can't shed light on the one you have with any confidence. Google indicates mid sixties Ford with two fours. So it likely has some value.

The 1B2 date code indicates it was manufactured the 2nd week of December 1971. The -1 of 3301-1 means it is a revision or 2nd design of the 3301 carb. These two things mean the carb is likely a service replacement. Which differentiates the carbs value from carbs originally installed on a new Ford when a car was built.

1960's Holleys originally installed on a new Ford that I have seen in those days had the Ford oval containing the Ford script stamped on the air horn where you found the numbers quoted. Again I don't have any real Ford knowledge so this would require further research.

Short answer is no it is not original to any 1967 Corvette.

Darren ... I believe Rumblegutz is correct about the 3810 being the correct carb. According to the attached Holley numerical listing & specs, the 3810 has a metering plate on the secondaries and the 3811 doesn't.

My 67 Coupe has the L79 engine 327cid/350hp. I don't have the original carb on mine but my 1967 Corvette Service Manual says it should have been equipped with a Holley 4160 carb. Both the 3810 & 3811 are 4160 Model carbs. Actually both the 300hp & 350hp engines got the same carb.. In addition to that, VetteFacts (1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Production Statistics and Facts), says it should be a Holley R3810A or R3814A.
