It is "official", otherwise it wouldn't be working.... the Canadian pricing has been available to dealerships since early August (Cdn build sheets in GM Workbench). As far as US vs CDN pricing and options; it has always been like that, but, I wouldn't complain since if you take US pricing and do a direct conversion on currency values, we are getting a deal (in comparison to every other country outside the USA). Using current currency exchange rates, a base 1LT would cost over $88k, but, GM doesn't do that to us.....The American 2022 website has only 4 colour choices that are 'premium' and cost extra. The Canadian 2022 website has 8 colours that cost extra. What gives? The 2022 site is not yet official, so I hope they fix that.
Canadian and U.S. pricing doesn't always co-align. In fact it doesn't follow the exchange rate, so it's another way for GM to make money. Lower base price, but higher option pricing. The American 2022 website has only 4 colour choices that are 'premium' and cost extra. The Canadian 2022 website has 8 colours that cost extra. What gives? They did not "match up" and never did..... See Murray's response regarding pricing.I mean the 2022 page is not official in that there is no link to it from the Chevrolet.ca build and price launch page. It still lists only 2021.
I'm thinking there is a mistake on the colours. As far I recall, for 2021 the colour selections matched up on both US and CDN websites.
Can anyone confirm this from their dealership? I have sent an inquiry to mine, but getting a response is 50/50...
To clarify: the 2021 colour selections matched up in which were premium colours and which were not. I did not mean the price. They did not "match up" and never did..... See Murray's response regarding pricing.

No, I understood what you were getting at, but, I still respectfully disagree about the "colors lining up". They did not, and never did (USA got a lot more "premium" colors at no added charge than we did in Canada.) I've attached a screen shot for the 2021 Build and Price and 2022 build and price. (keep in mind, the premium color list is shorter than 2022 since GM removed Zues Bronze and Shadow Gray earlier this year with no replacement). You can see that in past years, you only had the 4 "standard" colors, not just in 2022.To clarify: the 2021 colour selections matched up in which were premium colours and which were not.
