Has anyone had issues with their front and rear back up cameras on the C8? I have a 2023 HTC and for the past few weeks the cameras are not working intermittently (more often than not currently). They come on (sometimes) and then they switch off and the infotainment screen goes black with red warning triangle and a camera with a line through it.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there is a potential solution before I take it in for service. I realizing how handy the cameras are when they go off. Thanks.

Have you rebooted the Infotainment System?
Try it.
Isn't the 2024's Google infotainment?
His is a 2023 and I don't know of anyway of rebooting those except doing a total reset by removing the battery. Please enlighten us if I'm wrong. It would be good to know.

Ya, that (rebooting the car) requires disconnecting the battery and shorting the battery leads (NOT the battery!)
Just disconnect the negative side for half an hour apparently. Some say just shut the vehicle off and leave the door open for a few minutes although I don’t see how that would do anything. Another one was to touch and hold the home button on the infotainment system but again I suppose you’d have to try it. Just saw where as you said to touch the battery cables together and leave the battery disconnected for a half hour.

I have not. Thanks for the suggestion. Are you suggesting resetting the system to default in the options menu or is there another way to fully reboot the system? Thanks.
Try pressing and hold the "call end" (aka hang up?) phone icon button on the steering wheel for about 15 seconds, or until the Infotainment System screen goes black, then release. It isn't in the manual but it's mentioned elsewhere on the web as a possible reset procedure, that may work same as the 2024. Since the OP mentioned his "infotainment screen". Some other sources suggest turning the car off and on, or pressing and holding the Home button, like the call end. Sorry, what was the question again......
I see 1st Vette has already added some of this....

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will try all these solutions today. 🤞
