Not truth or fiction, just a YouTuber getting clicks and views. What’s next? a blog post from a different country verifying the claims and using a youtube video and a Facebook photo as proof?
This is a clear example of Confirmation Bias: people have negative views of gov, law enforcement, long wait times and low production of Z06 so they want this Z06 to be a real OPP car so they can be outraged and blame someone else for their feelings.

It will be on display at the Toronto International auto show. There is a good chance this is a Captured Test Fleet car
Hopefully someone who attends can post the vin? Far drive for myself.......

I have been going to this show for over 15 years but I will not be going this year.
Over the years more and more cars became locked and roped off and many brands pulled out all together as well as i ended up buying the cars I was looking at for so many years.
I am sure many members will go and take lots of photos
No show this year for Calgary...................

The 2023 Toronto auto show will be missing Ford, Honda, BMW, Mercedes and VW. I think it will be the worst show yet.
Completely agree. Why spend the entrance fee, parking and time when you can't get to most of the cars? I would just go to a dealer if they have the car I'm interested in. I used to go every year pre-Covid. As for the C8 Z06 police car. Many car companies donate or lend specialty cars to the police. I very much doubt tax dollars were spent on buying this C8. The O.P.P. wrap is what did cost some $$$.
A bunch of you that likes to commit your weekly crime can relax (a bit). Toronto auto show opens today and on the noon news they showed the OPP Z06 and Kerry Schmitz basically said Chevy loaned them the Z and they dressed it up in OPP livery for display purposes. Vehicle will not be on the road looking for you. The Chargers and Explorer SUV's (as well as the unmarked cars) are the ones to watch for.
As above, they are simply using it for recruitment "Click bait" as it were.
