Featured C8 Transporter

While at the Bowling Green National Corvette Museum this year, they had the C8 transporter on site. Maybe it will be in the next Transformers movie. A rather cool looking rig.

Lol. I guess the days of twin stick 18 speeds are long gone. Before you know it Corvettes won’t have a manual transmission either. And they call this progress....

Ok not to hi jack Ziggy's thread (guess I did sorry! Ziggy) but did you know the bar on the back of the trailer with reflective tape actually has a name. Someone famous was involved.

That is interesting. I had to Google it to find it was named after Jayne Mansfield. Now named to Mansfield bar. Thanks for noting that @Black 03 Z06

Very sad end to her life.

Her daughter, Mariska Hargitay plays a police captain on the drama series Law and Order.

I dont think that truck will be delivering many corvettes anywhere, unless they can be put on a pallet and driven in from a loading dock on a forklift.
The floor of the truck is 4' off the ground. Any transporter would be alot lower to the ground that that. Just a billboard I would say.
