We came to Edmonton yesterday to spend time with wife's mother in her final days. Had to leave the hotel around 7:00 PM to forage for drive through food and while stopped at a light on 97 street just north of 137th avenue waiting to make a right turn, We saw "corvette eyes" heading south. Thought it was a C7 at first but when it drove by it turned out to be an Elkhart Lake Blue C8 with a high wing. It was long gone before we could get on to 97 street but it was nice to finally see one in the wild.

Here's one Edmontonian looking to sell his/her 2LT 2020 C8 with a $129,000 asking price on Autotrader.ca. It looks to be black so not the Elkhart Lake Blue that was seen "in the wild":

The ad says "I do not have to sell so no low ball offers". I'm curious to know what it sells for with Bowling Green soon to resume production.

Bob positive thoughts for your MIL. So sorry to hear about this.

Thanks for the "sighting" story. Cool.

After a couple visits to an Edmonton dealer I finally saw my first "in-person" C8's a month ago: a Shadow Gray Metallic Z51 and a Torch Red Z51, both getting decked-out for customer delivery. Then this past long weekend I saw my first "live on the street" C8: a Torch Red Z51 with the roof panel removed, in the West end and near Costco. Perhaps it was the same Torch Red one I saw a month ago at the dealership. Before COVID cancelled it, the Calgary car show had 2 C8's (Accelerate Yellow and Sebring Orange) and one of them was "open for passengers" so a good buddy and fellow car-nut who lives in Calgary sent me a ton of interior and exterior photos on March 10th and answered my questions when there, while testing the patience of his spouse. The photos/videos are a poor substitute for the real thing. It's a beautiful car. With the cancellation of the Edmonton car show, finding a C8 around here has been a real challenge. Hopefully that will all change in the next 3 or 4 months...

I'm hoping that changes too with mine finally getting built and delivered!.. 🙏 that bowling Green can get up to speed quickly without anymore delays 👌

Here's a photo of my friend's Ceramic Matrix Grey C8 coupe now sitting at Northgate Chevrolet waiting for his weekend delivery. So you'll soon see another C8 cruising Edmonton's streets.

He must be counting down the minutes until he picks that thing up. I would be unable to sleep!

Slight correction not the ceramic matrix grey colour ...
that would be Shadow Grey Metallic ... hence darker. Nice
Only matters for those with O.C.D. (obsessive corvette disorder)
which most likely will soon include the Owner

My bad and yes I stand corrected. I knew it was the darker grey as shown in the photo; duh! Hopefully I'll see it in person in the next few days unless he's too busy enjoying his new best friend.
