Saw that on midengine forum. A lot of phooey to protect themselves. Too much evidence that it's a fault with the latch etc.

If they are lying: law suits - not sure they would damage the brand by taking such a chance?I could be wrong - but, do not think so - too much riding on this car.

tried to tell you buggers it had a wing

just did not know it was operational for going in reverse over 30 mph

serious and they seem to be ducking the issue at this time, as per usual

remember the headlights that go out years back on their trucks, never got fixed

remember the keys in the ignition that turns off

manufacturers use actuaries to see if it costs more to fix the problem than deny it and fight the court battles

Yes, this problem will kill people. There is way too much evidence that there IS an issue. No warning on the dash for at least 2 incidents. An audible click on one video just before the hood flies up. etc. etc. (Which is suppose to be impossible)
