Good Morning all. I am a new member and a new owner of a 2017 Z06. After putting a few hundred miles on it I have noticed one minor detail that doesn’t seem right. When performing a tight turn at idle speed it feels like the front end binds up like a truck in 4 wheel drive. Is this a result of such large steering tires? The car I purchased had 200 kms on it when I purchased it and is obvious that no modifications have been made to the car.

Welcome to the forum. What you are experiencing is totally normal. Geometry rules when we are turning sharp at a crawl speed. Due to the different turn radius of each side, the tire will scrub to catch up. Your outside turning tire has to follow a larger radius circle that the inside tire. All good. Nothing to worry about. If you use our search window top right and type in Ackerman, you can read all the posts about this over the years. Ackerman Theory is the name for it.
