Answered C5 LED under hood light

I changed my 561 bulb to a LED yesterday

Seems to be much brighter now and it will take less power (less heat on plastic lens). I have noticed that after the 15 minute timeout that the LEDs go completely off but then go on very dimly a little later. If I open the door then they come on full strength again. I know the mercury switch works because they remain completely off when I lower the hood.

I have LEDs in the interior, under hood, and trunk of m6 C6, and they so the same very dim glow when off. It has something to do with capacitance of the LED, so the switch is open and there is no power being used.
