The book 'All Corvettes Are Red' is an excellent recommended read about the C5 development at GM.

I should definitely look into getting that book!
It's funny mentioning that the C5 is almost 20 years old. When I was a kid and my dad had his 65 convertible, it was a classic and an old car at the time, but the car was only 16 years old! My C5 is 16 years old yet people still consider it a newer car.
