One of the annoying issues I struggle with daily (first world problems) is to constantly re-attach/re-upload images to different posts and threads. It's wasteful, soaks up server resources and takes up time. Thinking of adding basic attachment management capabilities allowing users to re-use, check usage, delete attachments. Very few boards have this from what I've seen. Basically once you attach an image it goes into your attachment gallery which you manage so you can reuse attachments, replace them (in all posts) etc.
