Anyone with a C8 in the Uxbridge, Port Perry, Markham area?

Theres a couple of C8's at Finch GM in London. One of the salesman Morgan has his own personal one that I'm sure he would even let you sit in. But looks like it would be a 2 and half hour dive from your area. Morgan is a great guy and he has done some videos on the C8. We saw it when they had an unveiling of the C8 and let a number of people sit in it and answered many questions about the car. One thing I can tell you is that any pictures you have seen doesn't do the car justice. Its amazing. Just hoping mine gets built before winter. Its for a convertible so at this point it might be a 2021. I have been at 3000 status for months now.

Ya, London is a little too far to drive. I ordered mine in St. Catherines and that was bad enough of a drive. The dealer in Uxbridge has had 2 delivered, but with the C-19 I didn't want to go to the dealer and I doubt they'd let me anywhere near it at that time.

IMO the verts will be built 3 weeks into the production restart so keep the faith brother
It wouldn't bother me at all if it was flipped into a 2021 model because it will have Apple wireless CarPlay which I would like. Think there are a few other tweaks with the 21's. But what ever happens is ok with me. I've been waiting for a mid engine Vette for over 30 years since they first started talking about it. So another year wont make a big difference. Have had other mid engine cars in the past and loved them. Acura NSX and a Porsche 911. Nothing beats the sound of the motor over your shoulder. LOL

At 3000 status as well for a while now but trying to stay positive. Maybe next monday they will try a soft reopen. Ihave not seen one in person as of yet but i intend on visiting my son in Halifax which is about 5 hrs away from where i live and i know that there is 2 c8"s on the go up there , both red coupes. If i'm blown away with what i see i will be super pumped when i receive notice of a status higher. I have never built a car before so this all new to me. Hell, I've never owned a vette before !!

Hi guys,
I’m in King, roughly half way between TO and Barrie. Often cruising to Newmarket, Aurora and Penetanguishene areas. Maybe we will see you around. Just passed the 805km mark releasing revs to 6500 RPM. It is an awesome car! I love the A8; never thought I’d ever say that!
Cheers and stay safe!

I hope you mean C8. lol
I'm at Davis and Durham 30 aka Durham / York townline. Easy to get to Newmarket from here.

Thanks, I agree on the wing. I love chrome rims though...not my car, just pictures.

I used to care about the wireless carplay in the '21 until I saw this...

Never been a fan of chrome. Had aluminum rims which are more muted and less in your face. I prefer matching the rims to the air intakes and the black front accents etc. It is after all personal taste. GM seems to agree with me though. I wonder when they stopped offering chrome wheels on cars.
