Another NooB

Hi all ,
I'm another new guy cruising the ads and dealerships looking for my first Corvette . Pretty much the same story as everyone else ... could never afford one when I was younger, now I can but am having trouble talking myself into pulling the trigger ...

I'm looking at one at Milton Honda right now, so If anyone has any experience dealing there good or bad, please PM me .

BTW I dropped by Manny's place in Breslau yesterday . When I do find my Vette, that's where I'll be taking it for service ! !

Hi Jim, welcome to the forum! I know the feeling of trying to talk yourself into it....do it you won't regret it. There are so many good deals out there right now......no more need to go cross border. You are so lucky to have Manny in your backyard. What year you looking at?

I'm interested in a newer car . Anything '08 and up . A black 6 speed coupe is my dream car !

There is just so much to to know about these cars , that's why I'm a bit nervous

Like you I could never afford one when younger. But it will tell you that owning one makes me feel much younger than I look.

I have ZERO regrets, I love it. You have made the right choice by going to Manny's, not trying to give him an ego boost or anything but he is "The Man" when it comes to Corvettes. Someone who you can trust 100%

I've only heard good things about Milton Honda, I believe the owner (could be wrong on this) is a Corvette enthusiast.

My experience with Milton is that they are not a bad dealership and the people are pretty nice, friendly and helpful. But that's pre-sales experience only. Layout of the building is good (huge showroom) and they seem to have a good service bay. I was there earlier this year looking at a couple of vert C5's before finding my C6 (pure happenstance) at WN.

Milton gets most of their vettes from the States. There is sort of an advisory out right now about cars from the States that have been damaged by water due to Hurricane Sandy. Do your due diligence when buying a US car.

Keep searching daily on Kijiji for the year you want. There are lots of Corvettes on that site. That's where we found ours.
