Well guys. Goes without saying that today was one of the better days I've had in a long time. Met some really cool people. Saw,touched, dreamt a little bit and said to nobody in particular out loud, this is the cats ass, nuts too !! Great day amongst great scenery with great people in even greater cars. What more could a person want !!

And lastly,a very big " atta boy and atta girl " as well as a heartfelt thank you from me,and my car to SN-III and his lovely wife Freda. Great people and very happy to be friends with them both.

Here's putting her to sleep until morning, then to the car wash early.

Well done Mike. Sounds like it was a great day.

I've got a half mile of gravel to travel on before hitting the highway so I know how you feel about your alley way.

I'd say the day turned out pretty good Murray. No complaints from me,aside from my back alley situation. Weather stayed perfect around 20cel. And,surprisingly traffic was a lot lighter than I figured for a Saturday in June. Great day overall.

All said and done,it was a 701.5 km day. And not much for bugs really.

... one of the best days Lightning McQueen had in the Cars Movie, was the day he got "bugs in his teeth" ...
(I know you have never seen the movie Mike ... but you might relate to this teaser picture)

Actually for 701.5 kms of driving, the bugs weren't all that bad.

Yup,i did my garage staring for the first 2 months after I bought it. Then I said to myself, " I wonder if it starts?" Haven't stopped having fun since.
I agree Mikey. Bought it to drive it! So many on the cruise had that attitude. Still can't believe Mutual1 drives his 2014 Z-51 year round. That's right, year round everyone! Has a set of winter rims and Alpine tires, parks it outside and drives it everyday! He wins the prize!!

Wow, that's crazy, but all the power to him......I drive my Old C5 as much as I can, but winter driving in a Vette of any year will never happen for this guy! I have either my Chev 1/2 ton or the Wife's new Yukon to drive in the winter months. Something about driving a Vette in the winter, doesn't seem right to me or very pleasurable, not too mention it isn't even possible in this part of the country.
