They came with mine in Manitoba, were one of the unlucky provinces that require a front plate. I used the aero panel to mount my plate.

Yes as you can see in C7Jake picture there are 4 little 3/16 holes drilled to mount the licence plate, 1 in each corner.

The Aero Panel is the one that came with your car and does not require any drilling to mount. What Jake did was trim the aero panel so that it was frameless in appearance
