Hi all, my brother was just notified that his order is in. They "are susbstituting your 2021 Corvette build for a 2022 Corvette that will be built in the next round". So now the anticipation builds! FYI, he placed his deposit with Tracy last October 1 for a 2021.

For a small difference, at this point, I would rather have the 22! Wait for the first build, a good idea.

While I can't remember off hand, there will likely be extras with a 22 over the 21 also

Yes, our thoughts as well that a relatively small increase in initail cost and hopefully a big increase in dependability, being that it’s the third year of production.

I was offered the choice of waiting for a 2022 or getting a 2021, I opted for the 2021. The difference in price from my 2021 and the exactly optioned car in a 2022 was around 4K. Plus one has to consider if your vehicle arrives after Jan 1 2022, you will be charged "Luxury Tax" at 20% on the amount over $100,000. Hopefully you can get it (or pay for it) before the end of the year!
