Buying 1964 327 Coupe How much??

Spend as much money as you need to for a good appraisal. If you have a local NCRS club. There might be a contact you can work with there. As mentioned the frame issues.... The bird cage is also most important . Make sure the person inspecting this car is keenly aware of this with a C2 Bird cage...

Buying 1964 327 Coupe How much??

Have a C2 expert check that car out. 64's are a bit of an orphan because in 65 they put 4 wheel disc brakes in....which is more desirable. This car has drums all around. 2 very important things to have checked. The bird cage and the frame....especially at the area where the rear trailing arms...

    Winter Projects?

Inspect hydraulic lifter noise. Will not quiet down after adjusting. Remove intake manifold. Inspect lifters. Replace cam shaft and all lifters if necessary. Remove dent in front cross member from improper jacking all these years before me. Big job as you have to take a part suspension on one...

    C3 1975 - brake calipers

I see that Corvette depot in Windsor Ont has stock. GM used a lip seal style back in the day. And if you are a purist like myself. This system is fine works well. The newer way to go is an O- ring style and replace the 4 brake pistons as well. Comes a a kit for a DIY er. I'm going to assume...

What would you consider low kilometres when buying a used C7 Z51

Do your research to understand if you really need a Z51 package. If your tracking the car on a regular basis....go for it. As above... a great car is the 2LT package and look for a car with magnetic ride. If you like to shift.... the 7 speed is awesome.

Hello, looking to rent or buy a trailing arm bushing installation tool.

Corvette Central or Zip Corvette show one. Freight might be a little ugly though.

    Steve-O

There are 2 mirrors that may have been installed on your car. Early production date and late production date. They have different bases. Short base and Long base. That right hand mirror was a dealer installed item. Not from the factory. Both "Corvette Central" and "Zip Corvette" ( and I'm sure...

    '63 trailing arm bearings/spindles

If you can get your trailing arms off. I would look at taking them down to Bair's Corvette in Linesville PA - 814 683-4223 South west of Buffalo. Closer to Erie PA. They have a rebuilding service and their catalogue ( currently) shows a cost of $375 USD each side w/rotors. It says call for...
