I had issues similar to that 2 years ago and it was the wire harness in the driver's door. Make sure there is no contact between the wires either by isolating with electric tape or pushing the wires in further in the connector. It's been a year since and never happen again. Hope that helps!

That Z06 is pure s*x!! Not to mention what's under the hood... I've hesitated a lot between red and yellow when I bought mine last year... And I would do "almost" anything to have a hoist like that one in my garage :P

I was in Halifax this week and saw a black C6 and red C5 Z06 riding together.. it made me miss my car so bad!!

I just installed my front bumper cover this w/e. I bought it on Ebay, it's aftermarket made of fiberglass instead of plastic... It does the job and cost 80$ shipped to Canada vs 180$ from GM. I can post pictures if someone is interested...

Thanks! I ordered some parts this week and can't wait to get them.. Front plate cover (I bought the car in Ontario and we don't need front license plate in QC), front bumper emblem as mine misses the finish lap flag and a short ram air intake... I was looking to swap the 2.73 gear for a 3.42...

New c5 owner here from Gatineau (across the river from Ottawa) and no I don't think people want their own forum.. its just that corvette owners are generally too old to use computer ;) just kidding anyways, I love the car and the forum looks great!
