Thank you for the reply folks, but I think I will leave it off as it was not there originally. I have a new problem. I cannot find an early 63 ignition cylinder/switch. I sourced a late 63 and it doesn't fit. Can anyone tell me where I can find one for my early 63 C2?

I just bought a 1963 Convertible and was thinking of installing a passenger side mirror. Is it the same mirror as the left hand side? Left hand side is all I can find on line for purchase.I do realize it was a dealer option at the time. I'm a bit nervous about drilling holes in my door.
