Thanks for replying Graham.it It is more of a rattle or small knock in the area of the dash speaker. Noticable at low speed like when I go out my driveway and driving over small bumps. I can't notice anything at normal speed probably because of the normal car sound. I have only put about 50 km...

I just bought a 1980 L48 and it has the normal noises of a 34 year old classic but there is one I would like to take care of. It is in the dash on the left hand driver side. Is there an easy way to access this location to have a look with out a lot of dis-assembly?
