What is the best way to clean my aluminum inpact frame. I am replacing my fuel tank and now is the time to clean it. I've heard that sandblasting it is too abrasive. Anyone had any success with some cleaners?

I have a broken floor panel on the driver side. Any suggestions on how to repair. I'm looking for some books or DVD's on fiberglass repair but I can't seem to find anything. I'm attaching a picture of my floor panel.

Yes, these tanks have bladders and that would mean the gas is getting past the rubber too. Probably can't be repaired.
