onthe older ignitions there was two wires that ran from the pickup to the module. they would flex and break inside the insulation. caused the same symptoms. yes dist has to come out to change that pickup.not sure if same in 89 but worth a check.

need to get tires balanced. haven't jacked car up yet ever.. heard it can be tricky. Can a guy trust a tire shop to do it right to balance tires and rotate them???? Any thoughts or experiences here?

comp cams have a 1.5 or a1.6 avail. fit in place of originals. Comp cam products all good. their cams are wicked at making power.
