Question Detailing products made in Canada?

Appreciate the tips—I'll definitely look into those before settling for the usual big box options. Always nice to support more specialized or local brands when possible.

    273 to 342 REAR GEARS

Sounds like a classic heat soak or line pressure issue once that trans gets hot. Could be a solenoid sticking or maybe the TCC (torque converter clutch) hanging up a bit after long runs. Good call bringing it back to Nigel—he’ll catch it when it’s acting up hot.

Totally get where you’re coming from—I’ve been trying to do the same. I’ve heard good things about brands like Auto Obsessed (based in Edmonton) and Croftgate Canada, so those might be worth checking out before heading to Canadian Tire.

    273 to 342 REAR GEARS

Sounds like the transmission might be reacting to heat soak or fluid pressure issues after extended highway driving. Taking it back to Nigel when it’s hot is a smart move — that'll help them catch the issue in real-time.

Question Disabling the automatic daytime driving lighs.

You're right, the relay method works but can be tricky if you're not precise. That manual bypass module sounds like a cleaner solution—I'll definitely check out CorvetteForum for more info.

Question Disabling the automatic daytime driving lighs.

Yeah, the Twilight Sentinel feature on the 2001 can definitely be a bit stubborn if you're trying to disable it completely. Pulling fuse 2 under the hood won't do it, since that's usually tied to something else (like DRLs or parking lights), not the automatic headlight control.

Replaced rear marker lights with ACS smoked reflector lights and installed ACS rear diffusers and blacked out rear tail lights.. Looks awesome.

Glad you liked it—Pocono always brings a clean, aggressive touch when done right! And totally agree on ACS parts—fitment and finish are spot on, just like OEM but with that extra flair. Did you go with any ACS pieces for your build too?

Awesome! Sounds like a major upgrade, and from the looks of it, it turned out really cool. The smoked reflectors and diffusers definitely add a classy and aggressive look. How do you feel about the changes?
