I just put down a deposit last night so March 6 2023. I'm first on the list. A buddy of mine just got a z06 with a Z07 package which we believe is the first in Canada so figured maybe lightening will strike twice lol.
Yes, sorry I had no intention of hijacking the thread. I was nearly responding to the comment that there were no known z07's that had made it into the Canadian market. I think the lesson learned is that there are still some surprises left in the world, including the smallest possible dealership...
It's 100% a Z06 with the Z07 performance package. Technically it's the second one as the original allotment was Aug 2022 but failed QC so the second one was built Jan 2023. Here is a link to the Facebook posting from the dealer or I also attached a screenshot for those without Facebook...
Just found out that z07 landed in Kenora. One of the smallest dealers in Canada. The car is actually someone from Winnipeg that I know and he paid retail for a 2lz Z07 package.
Agreed. Definitely a few different reasons people buy sports cars some like touring in a well built machine that handles in way that provides a certain experience not achieved in your typicall car. Others like myself like to be able to race it and definitely more focused on performance. I have...
Trust me when the z06 hits the street its the only one everyone will be looking at. As for the extra cash definitely a deal. My porsche costs more then the z06 and no way comes close to it so in my mind the 50k is cheap for what you get.
I never allowed anyone to test drive. In fact for the couple of people who seemed more serious based on best judgment I gave them a ride along so they can get a feel for the car. The person who actually bought the car never actually drove it until after he sent me the payment
I just sold my C7 and got 12k more versus the dealer. The current market is hot and lots of buyers out there so I think its worth selling it privately. I accepted an EFT as payment.
I put on a 305/25ZR-20 in the rear and 265/30-19 in the front. For the rear Rim 20X10.5 +69 and for the front 19x9 +50. Anything larger and the tire starts to stick out.
Technically just google "Overboost Tuning/Flotec Fuel". Pretty much he is one of the main guys all the JDM guys in winnipeg use but I found him to honest and an overall great mechanic so he knows his stuff. I always wanted him to do a cam job for me but now I'm at the point where I'm planning to...
