Hi Guys- Looking to upgrade the carpet in my '79 L82, and have been reading about the heat shield materials you can get to install under the carpets. Anyone have experience with this? Tips and tricks? As always- appreciate your voluminous knowledge! :driving: Michael

Guess I'd look at a new Corvette- maybe trade in my 79 on an 80 :)

Also, put in a new torque converter last weekend>now that's definitely it for this year! (Except for the vacuum modulator hose I chaged out this week) Now the headlights pop up faster!

Will definitely do that! I've got tuned headers so I'll keep those and I guess I'll have to adapt the magnaflows- I've heard great things about them from everyone I've spoken with. Thanks Case
