It was the battery after all folks. I tested myself and had it confirmed by a shop. In the end I replaced it with a Red Top. No issues since. Man I love this car!

I can't say I read in the owners manual to keep the car in reverse - but I do it just to be safe - to avoid this very problem. Thanks for all your input folks - 4 more months to go before the snow melts here and I can drive her out of the garage (I hope). Cheers,
