Never been on a Roadcourse before but it should be fun. Gonna mount the go pro cam to the dash and maybe get some good vids. If you are In the area , swing by
Yep, had to be easy on the pedal when coming out of the hole. Once I get some sticky tires at Dasilva , I will def try again at that track. I can't wait to see your wheels at that track. It should pull somewhere in the 10s with good traction.
Took the new vette to the track to see what India numbers she would put down.. She ran a 12.22 at 117mph with a 60 foot of 1.95. Not bad for almost bald street tires. Saw a Camaro ZL 1 there that ran consistent 12.7 secs. I wanted to line up against him but never got the chance, maybe next time.
A little change in plans, I wont be heading to Cayuga on the wknd of the 25th but I will be in Toronto for meeting from May 6 to 7. I will try to head down there early and maybe get a bit of running at the track on May 5. I will try to get some pics and vids. Might need someone to hold the...
Heading down to visit Manny and the boys of Breslau ( Dasilva Motorsports) to get some perf work done the the Vette. I will then head over to Cayuga to see how fast and how quick she is in 1/4. I might even take on the road course. Are there any other racers out there, if so, we will see ya there
My vette has the Bassani exhaust and although I Really do like the sound but I really like kicking it down and letting her scream( damn near better than Viagara.lol). The problem is that it attracts too much attention. So I have two choices, either drive like gramma or look for a bit quieter...
Hey CCO. Nice to meet ya the other day. Truck got fixed and made it home ok. The Vette is a lot of fun to ride. My next mod will for sure be the gear change, followed by the ECS blower.Have you done the gear change? also, how do you secure your vette when inside your trailer. Do you use d hooks...
The boys at Dasilva will be changing the gears from 2.56 to 3.42. They say that they will have to get one built. Can they just put one in from a Z06. Is it not a 3.42 rear end. is there a diffenence. Maybe one of the boys from Breslau can answer.
Thanks
