'71 454 bored 40 over. Crane Cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock dual plane intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, headers, Keith Black pistons, Hei distributor, 4 core rad, double timing chain, shift kit (Trubo 400), high stall torque converter, Magna-flow's, 355 gears, all the ARP bolts, studs, etc...

Your right, it is kinda cool having it....and seeing the list price of 5800.00 made me smile too. My car was imported into Canada in 1977 and I have the docs for that as well along with the declared value etc....... I'd have to pay more than 3 times that for a new paint job today.

I found that I had mine after my last appraisel ('71 LS 5 car). Does anyone know how the build sheet affects the value. Now additionally, the engine is a replacement, so obviously not a numbers car but is the build sheet of value ? By the way we have a birthday party every Sept 9...lol

It does sound kinda good. I do like my Magnaflow's.

1971 454, Sunflower (original colour code). Frame off 15 years ago. Stk on the outside and interior. Original engine blew in Oregon in '77....replacement blew in 2002. Current is a 454 40 over with some ahhh....enhancements . Only thing that doesnt look stk under the hood is the HEI...
