    Anyone else going to this??

Sorry VET-TRN that I didn't read your reply until today. We were parked right below the spiral gray c5 in your first picture. That was great event and the food was very reasonable too.

    Anyone else going to this??

I registered for it and looks like the weather might even be decent tomorrow. Coming down from Royston. This should be a great event with such a variety of cars and what a setting. Larry

Finally some pictures of my C3

Good solid project. Did you have much work to do on the birdcage ? I am very seriously considering selling the C5 and going back to a chrome bumper C3. Miss the removable back window. Here is link to a VERY detailed restoration site in case you haven't already seen it...

Penticton, BC Peach City Beach Cruise..! June 26-28/2015

My wife and I will be going to it tomorrow. Saw a lot of cars heading that way today so it will be a great show as always. This year is a nostalgia theme so should be interesting. My good friend from Surrey and a few old GMC motorhome owners are bringing them up.

Wanted MGW short shifter and box

Good luck with your search. You won't regret it if you find one. Just put one in a couple of weeks ago and love it.

    New shoes

Thanks for the comments guys . The tires are stock size for the C6 fronts - 245/40/18 and rears 285/35/19 so that might be considered plus sizing from C5 size. I haven't tried them for squak since She who must be obeyed is with me most of the time ! I think they will take a bit more to...

    New shoes

I just put on C6 polished aluminum rims with Michelin Pilot Super Sport non-runflats. :D Like the softer ride and grip of the Michelins but was expecting more reduction in noise so the Firestone Firehawks must be a fairly quiet run flat. Never drove with Goodyear run flats so had nothing to...

    GHL exhaust

Bruce I hope your little Vette Spotter you had with you has approved of the sound. If not he might not ride with you and you'll end up waving at Vipers and other strange things. Glad you enjoy the sound and I would be disappointed if they didn't have the gurgle and pop. Larry:D

WTB dead or dying tpms sensors C5 97-00

Edited: Search was successful As the title says I would like 4 1997-2000 tpms sensors to go into a set of polished 5 spoke C6 rims that are going on our C5. I will replace the batteries so that I know they should last for a while. Let me know what you have & what you want for them. Thanks Larry

    Hid conversion...?

This is the headlight mod I made following a very well detailed build on another forum. (Send me a PM if you want the link). It is comprised of twin bi-xenon projectors (yes,I know overkill). Both systems use 35W ballasts with 4300K bulbs, anything stronger would begin to get into the...
