Nonsense. If you do not track your car, simply get them repaired. The tire guys is trying to rip you off. That is the easiest, most straightforward repair . The other nail, unfortunately, is close to the sidewall, so not sure. But they look like shallow nails anyways -

Absolutely. Options for me, in the future, if I want a manual transmission sports car are few. 911 GT3. Lotus Emira. That's about it. I drove my friend's AMG GTR Pro Monday, and boy oh boy. That car is exciting and roughly worth the same as a brand new Z06. Tough choice there. -
