jack stands yes or no while in storage?
I get no flat spotting, run flats tend not to flatten out , very strong sidewalls. I do put 42 lbs of pressure in them before storage. Never put a car on jacks for storage. I store it in a attached , unheated garage. We have no issues with mice but my car cover is tight over the exhaust... -

Z51 compared to non Z51
Some with experience with the Z51 suggest you get the Magnetic Ride Control if you do decide to go that way. There have been concerns raised about the rougher ride without it in the Z51. You can google it and find all kinds of posts about that issue , pro and con. -
Z51 compared to non Z51
The brakes are dusty and dirty on the Z51, your wheels will keep getting dirty , just the nature of the beast so bigger brakes but messier. Unless you want to track the car the Z51 has very little advantage. Depending on the look you want the Z51 might be your choice, now the options are... -

3M Paint Protector
I used 3M on the front bumper, rocker panels and back of the mirrors last year. It has worked well , glad I had it done, about $800 installed.
