Like the title says folks!

From where to where? Which model vette? With who? Do you have active laser jamming and a v-1 valentine radar detector?

No Plans but if anyone is doing anything interesting I will join! I thought a nice group road trip would be cool, or a BBQ meet like our Pike Lake trip (EPIC FAILURE)

I may go out to BC this summer. That drive would be awesome! If I go by myself it will be the 2000 fenderstripemobile. If a friend wants to go, it will be the 4 door vette. And not the cool CTS-V version. The slightly less cool 1991 Honda Accord version. I may be able to stuff one bike in my car, but not two+passenger.

I've heard good things about the Valentine and Escort detectors...never really used one before as all I've really had is my truck and it barely does mock chicken so I've never had to worry about it.

Will be making numerous 4 hr legs to see races, events, cottages and whatever else I can think of.

I had a radar detector and I got caught with it years ago... have not owned one since.

Me too! thing never made a peep! I look up and there is a RCMP car coming through the ditch at me, I pulled over he comes up gives me the ticket. I threw the detector in my closet and its probably still there.

I got pulled over doing the speed limit...

officer says... "Sir, can you give me your radar detector please."
me - "I don't have a radar detector officer, you must be mistaken"
officer - "Sir, I detected your radar detector with the radar detector detector."
me (shitting pants) "here you go!"

He let me off but he took the radar detector and made me drive over it. he picked me out of a line of cars which amazed me... it was not in the window so they must have a way of figuring it out. The last thing I wanted was for him to impound the car or do a search.

I'd consider using one again but I think they give you a false sense of security.. They might save you on a busy road when they are bouncing signals off lots of cars but they wont save you when your hauling it down a back road.... jammer might work though.

Great! So now I need a radar detector detector detector. I would use a jammer, but I am not sure if they are legal so I would probably also need a radar jammer detector jammer.
