I currently have two C1, '56 & '57. I very much enjoy driving them around town or for short distances out of town, always have to make sure I can return the same day, no overnight trips. Ever been caught in the rain driving a C1? Doesn't make much differences if the top is up or down!! I must admit they’re not exactly the most comfortable of safest cars to drive, quite rough and noisy, forget about the radio.
If I was to buy another Corvette, would certainly like to buy a newer C5 or C6. Much more comfortable, safer, quieter and more suitable for longer drives such as going to Carlisle or on a vacation. I could actually hear the radio and enjoy the AC. I guess can keep on dreaming... :)
