Where is the best place to get the I pod adapter that hooks into the back of the head unit ?
What brand is everyone using ?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I bought mine for my Alpine head unit from a local stereo shop and had them hide the wire in the console feeding the end into the console storage compartment.

Marky, is this the stock OEM HU? Is it Bose or non-Bose? If so you may need to consider a few types of solutions.
USA-SPEC make one. Might need to go through the CD-Changer (not sure)
If it is non-BLOSE, you may want to consider a new HU as this will often be less $$ than trying to retrofit to the OEM. Just some thoughts.

Pierre you are probably right. I might just upgrade the whole system.
That way I can get all the goodies added in from the start.

For the amount of money and labor involved, you could end up spending the same as a decent unit with GPS; iPod and BlueTooth!
