Me too, I actually spent some years In IASCA, and was a custom builder for Blaupunkt , Alpine , and Precision Power .

Thing is with the vette I just want to hear the engine.

My fav setups consisted of PP or Phoenix Gold amps with JL subs and MB Quart front stage all running through Audio Control processors , backed up by converted rayne 24 octive eq's . How's that for sound quality

Man those wre fun days

Ok back to the Caddy, I will pull the engine and trans tomorrow night and post up some more pic's ..........ga'night all

So, it appears that you are making more room for the amplifiers and Kicker subs.

Good time to datail the engine bay! And then keep it off the road till summer. The wintery conditions in Ontario make such a mess.Oh and it must suck getting blown away by a Caddy while driving a Vette. LOL

There's going to be a lot of C5's getting took by Caddilacs if they keep making 305 hp V6 models and offering a 565hp upgrade LOL

Actually I was surprised by the pricing for the new CTS-V. $70k without rebates or anything sounds like a pretty good value when you consider the car... or is it just me??? That doesn't even touch the used prices too!!! While the new ZR-1 will remain much higher valued in comparison, I couldn't see why I couldn't convince "management" that a 55k dollar 1 year old CTS-V isn't a great buy and value!!! (plus stock it'll probably out run a heads/cam c5!!!)

I would have to make it into a rear engine if that was the case

Just imagine what it could do, with a few tweeks from E.C.P

One more picture from Tuesday night :

Stripping down the engine before getting off to John at Westport Auto for machining.
