Seat belt locks

anyone else have the problem that everytime I hit a bump or two in the road the seat belt locks in. to which slowly ratchets me in tighter and tighter?

so annoying, that release doesn't work, so I have to unbuckle and then let it go all the way back to buckle up. thinking one of these times the cop's aren't going to know I was already buckled up and give me a ticket

I've had that happen a few times, but not recently. That button doesn't seem to do anything on mine either!

Seat belt issue

GM had a safety recall on these belts, I just had mine replaced in Kitchener at Scherer Pontiac/GM. This recall has been on the books for many years...

What did GM replace on the seat belt recall? It would be great if they are replacing the entire belt as mine do show some wear.
